My son and I were talking about LOVE and Valentine's Day. Some friends feel like the commercialism of the day has become a monster machine of "having to do something" for your significant other.

I agree, it has become the day- that you really ought to get your act in gear. Come on, THIS is a day that does mean a lot- to many of us.

We talked about his gift and his girlfriend and if he did remember to get her a present for the day.

I am glad to report that he managed his Valentine's day wonderfully. Whew. I haven't completely failed as a mom!



My significant other got me beautiful presents and I snuggle cuddle into it every night. Find someone who pays attention to the little things. Keep shining, smiling, singing...and sashaying.
