Birthing your soul…
There comes a time when the soul awakens and is ready to
stop living in the hazy fog of denial. For me, it is now. It has taken 53 years
to get to this point.
It is a point of becoming.
I am not at that point of full actualization—yet. However, I am becoming....getting closer to that point everyday.
The words: “To thine own self be true.” Have been haunting
me. They have been whispered in my ear. And I must listen.
I went looking for what John O’ Donohue had to say about
this and I loved what he said about once one is awakened, the old patterns can
not take hold again. “You want your work to become an expression of your gift.”
And this quote I am tempted to tattoo upon my thigh.
“You want your God to be wild and to call you where your destiny awaits”
“You want your God to be wild and to call you where your destiny awaits”
I am not sure what is around the next bend, or over the next
hill, I trust that what ever transpires will be exciting and fulfilling. I know
that this next summer coming I will go the next floor up. I have 2 women friends
that know me on an incredible energy level. They know who they are. (waving) I
look forward to weaving them into my reverent sacred creative journey. Transforming
into the Art Priestess requires: “eternal vigilance.”
With inner dedication we become what we know in our hearts
we have always wanted to become.
Trust in the music, trust in the song that is
in your heart. And sing and dance!
And soar!
If you get to the point of actualisation I will be interested to hear! I have spent years teaching students that Maslow himself admitted that only he and Einstein had probably done this and I would love you to rewrite psychology...

Jp, put the quote on your wall, make it into an art piece, that you can enjoy and that warms your heart every day the sun shines upon it! -bardsbabe
