Are you a puppet? (day 13)

The artist Hijiri Yahagi creates life size ceramic art puppets. It reminds me of Pinocchio.  He just wanted to be a real boy, and he suffered through trials and tribulations- growing with each experience.

Strings can be supportive- as well as restrictive. Depending on our perspective and beliefs.

Personally, I love the idea of a woven net of Love. All of us connected with our individual threads of love and light. When we are young and have not yet learned our voice- we need the strings to help us learn how we should act. We mimic our environment. Hopefully they will be models of love.

Eventually we learn to cut the strings – becoming responsible for our destiny.

So in the beginning the thread that supports us is needed.  The strings are needed until one becomes self-reliant and self-aware. Then it is up to the individual to release themselves- so they might soar free.
