Hollywood in Ireland

There are two magnificent women in my life. The one sitting beside me, in the blue hat and the person taking the photograph.

First, let me introduce you to Maggie Hollywood Boyle.

She is who I want to be- when I grow up. (And at this rate—I may never grow up.) She has a few sayings: “Have your coat at the ready, if they ask you out and you say no, they won’t ask you again!” She says that statement with power, exclaiming it in her lovely Irish accent so you better sit up and listen.

She makes me smile. Every thing about her is glorious. She is an example of what an older magnificent person should be. Maybe it is her maiden family name: “Hollywood” to be wild and warrior like in her approach to a passionately lived life.

She travels every 3 to 6 months and asks her daughter regularly: “Where are we going next?”

This brings me to her daughter, Anita. (smiling-waving) She took the photograph and is the travel agent for us all, she is the researcher from heaven and the wild wonderful warrior woman who can barter down an Italian street market man like you won’t believe. She is also a Reiki master. She can teach you how to heal yourself and others. She is the most grounded person I know. (Grinning)

Anita knows how to live. She doesn’t let the grass grow under her feet, she is always zooming about. Whether she is traveling internationally, or taking friends and family out to tea—this woman is hard to pin down. She and her mum share the same feeling— You have only one life to live—lets get out there and LIVE it fully!

The graphic created was taken on a glorious sunny day, the first day I was in Ireland this past summer. It was hot enough to put on a bathing suit, put on a comfy cotton shirt and shorts and head to the beach! Maggie—Miss Hollywood is in her blue beach hat—chillin to the sound of the soft waves as they kiss the beach.

We are each other’s light house, we shine and warn and are forever secure on the horizon of life. Wooohooooo!! Life is amazing!
Expect miracles!
